Let The Kids Play was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, confidence, and community that sports provide , regardless of their background or access to equipment.
In many communities, both locally and globally, children are eager to play but held back by a lack of basic resources. For some, the absence of proper gear means sitting on the sidelines. For others, it can mean feeling excluded or disconnected from a team environment that should uplift and empower them. We understand that sports are more than just games — they are vehicles for self-expression, personal growth, and belonging.
Let The Kids Play began with the mission to break down these barriers by collecting and distributing new and gently used sports equipment to underserved youth. Since its inception, the organization has provided over $120,000 worth of gear to communities across the United States, Eswatini, the Dominican Republic, India, and Croatia.
But our impact goes beyond equipment. We strive to foster confidence, inclusion, and opportunity — giving kids the chance to focus on what they can control: their attitude, their effort, and their love of the game. Through equipment drives, donation initiatives, and sustainability projects, we work to ensure that no child is left out simply because they lack the right gear.
At Let The Kids Play, we’re not just delivering equipment — we’re creating access, building community, and helping kids take the field with confidence.
